Dale chat is how people misspell DALL·E. The image model announced as DALL·E 3 now sits inside ChatGPT’s image tools, including ChatGPT Images 2.0.

DALL·E 3 is the OpenAI image model introduced for ChatGPT. You do not open a separate “Dale” app. In ChatGPT you ask for an image, or you upload a photo and ask for an edit. The later product name on the announcement is ChatGPT Images 2.0.

- Higher limits on paid plans than on Free
Sora was the video product, and it is a different shutdown story. Image generation in ChatGPT is not Sora. See Sora 2 if the query was about video.

Is DALL·E still a separate site?
The consumer path is ChatGPT. The DALL·E 3 announcement remains at openai.com/index/dall-e-3. New image work is described under ChatGPT Images.
Can ChatGPT edit a photo?
Yes. Upload the image and describe the change. The help article is Images in ChatGPT. Some requests are refused under the content rules.
