What is SchoolAI?
SchoolAI is a classroom tool for teachers. It is not the ChatGPT app, and it is not an OpenAI login. The logo lives on schoolai.com.
Updated 2026-09-27
Teachers open SchoolAI at schoolai.com. OpenAI’s own write-up is SchoolAI on openai.com. Students looking for the assistant OpenAI ships should use chatgpt.com, including the student Plus offer when that window is open.
SchoolAI logo
The mark is on the SchoolAI site and in their press materials. This page does not redistribute it. The blossom on our header is the OpenAI mark, from OpenAI’s own favicon, and it is not the SchoolAI logo.
A district rollout is a SchoolAI account, often with a school email. It does not replace an OpenAI API key, and a teacher login there does not cancel a personal ChatGPT Plus plan.
Questions
Is SchoolAI owned by OpenAI?
SchoolAI is its own product. OpenAI published a page about it. Account help for the classroom tool goes to SchoolAI, not to this site.
Where do I download the SchoolAI logo?
From schoolai.com. Do not crop the OpenAI blossom and call it the SchoolAI mark.
