Edit a photo
- Open ChatGPT and start a message
- Attach the photo
- Say what should change and what should stay: the face, the background, the crop
- Paid plans allow more images per window than Free
Refusals are content rules, not a broken uploader. The switch that adds stricter filters is Reduce sensitive content. Video is a different product, and Sora has already shut down.

Is ChatGPT Image 2.0 free?
Free accounts can generate images until they hit the cap. Plus and higher plans raise that cap. The exact count is shown in the app.
