ChatGPT logo

The ChatGPT logo is the OpenAI blossom: six interlocking ribbons on a white or black field. Official files and the rules for using them are on the brand page.

OpenAI blossom mark used as the ChatGPT icon
The blossom from OpenAI’s favicon. Full lockups and usage rules are on openai.com/brand.

Download lockups from openai.com/brand. The icon in this site’s header and favicon is that same blossom, taken from OpenAI’s favicon, so the tab matches the product people searched. We are not OpenAI, and this page is not a second brand kit.

Which file people usually want

  • App icon: the blossom alone, black on white or white on black
  • Wordmark: “ChatGPT” or “OpenAI” set next to the blossom, from the brand page
  • Do not redraw the knot, recolor it, or add a ring around it for a fake login

A site that puts this icon next to a password box is not the product. Sign in only at chatgpt.com. The SchoolAI logo is a different mark. Dale chat is the image model, not a second logo.

Questions

Can I use the ChatGPT logo on my site?

Read openai.com/brand. Mentioning the product in a review is different from putting the mark on a sign-in form.

Is the favicon the full logo?

The favicon is the blossom icon. Horizontal lockups with the word ChatGPT are on the brand page.

  • What is SchoolAI?

SchoolAI is a classroom AI product for teachers, separate from ChatGPT. The logo is on schoolai.com, not a file this site hosts.

  • Dale chat is DALL·E

Dale chat is a misspelling of DALL·E. Image generation in ChatGPT now runs through ChatGPT Images, including the 2.0 release.

  • OpenAI account

An OpenAI account is two logins: chatgpt.com for the assistant, and platform.openai.com for API keys. This site cannot sign you in.
