ChatGPT Agent
ChatGPT Agent is the mode that takes a task and works it: browsing, files, and tools, then a result in the thread. You stay in ChatGPT. You do not deploy a server.

The announcement is Introducing ChatGPT agent. You describe the outcome, watch the steps, and stop it when it asks for something you do not want shared. It is slower than a one-shot answer because it is using tools.

Questions
Is ChatGPT Agent included in Plus?
It runs inside ChatGPT, with limits that depend on the plan. The picker shows when you can start one.
Can it log into my bank?
Do not hand it credentials. A task that needs a login should use a connection you authorized, not a password pasted into the chat.

- Codex status and usage
Check Codex uptime on status.openai.com, plan limits at chatgpt.com/codex/settings/usage, and the CLI with /status. API spend is a different page.
- Workplace agents
OpenAI’s workspace-agents lesson is the Academy track for using agents at work. A workplace agent runs in a ChatGPT workspace, under an admin’s rules.
- ChatGPT ads
ChatGPT ads are a paid placement inside ChatGPT, bought in Ads Manager. Answers stay separate from the ad, and chats are not sold to advertisers.
